Find Carroll County Court Dates

A Carroll County court date can show up in a notice, a citation, or the future-events section of the public court docket, so start with the court where the case was filed. From there, rely on the newest notice and the clerk who keeps that court's calendar. No single live calendar covers every Carroll County court. Circuit Court, the county's district departments, and the Alpena department each work differently. When you check a Carroll County court calendar, watch for resets too, because an older setting can linger in the docket history after a new date replaces it.

Carroll County Court Calendars Explained

No live calendar gathers every Carroll County case and courtroom in one place. The public starting point is Search ARCourts. A participating case may display a Future Events block. The Third District administrative plan lays out recurring patterns. For the shape of local sessions, it covers Berryville, Eureka Springs, and Green Forest. Those patterns show which days usually carry arraignments, trials, or reviews. They do not order anyone to appear in a specific case.

What controls is the newest citation, notice, or order, confirmed with the filing clerk. Circuit Court splits in two. The Eastern District sits at Berryville. The Western District sits at Eureka Springs. District matters fall to Berryville, Eureka Springs, Green Forest, or the separate Fourth District department at Alpena. Location matters as much as the date itself.

Carroll County Recurring Court Dates

The Third District administrative plan lists repeating docket patterns. In Berryville, city arraignments land on the first Tuesday and county arraignments on the first Wednesday. City discovery and trials come on the second Wednesday, failure-to-appear review on the third Monday, and county discovery and trials on the third Wednesday. These sessions generally start at 9:00 a.m.

Eureka Springs handles civil and small-claims work on the first Monday as set, arraignments on the first Friday at 1:00 p.m., and discovery or trials on the second Friday at 9:00 a.m. Green Forest sets arraignments for the first Friday at 9:00 a.m. and discovery or trials for the third Friday at 9:00 a.m. A repeating pattern points to the likely docket track. Only a case-specific notice binds.

Finding Your Court Date

When a setting matters, use every channel you have. Search ARCourts helps, but district coverage is conditional and the system promises no refresh time. A portal event may conflict with a newer paper notice. That conflict goes to the correct clerk. A lawyer on the case can also confirm the setting from the court's order.

  1. Read the citation, summons, or newest hearing notice. Note the full case number and the named court.
  2. Open Search ARCourts, choose Carroll County, and keep Court Location broad at first. Open the matching case and inspect Future Events and the latest Docket Entries.
  3. Compare the portal date with the newest notice or order. A later reset entry can replace an older event.
  4. Call the filing clerk: Circuit east at 870-423-2422, Circuit west at 479-253-8646, Berryville District at 870-423-6247, Eureka Springs at 479-253-8574, Green Forest at 870-438-5866, or Alpena at 870-849-8602.
  5. Ask for the date, time, setting type, and appearance location. Official sources do not document a daily printed calendar or public lobby posting, so ask the clerk whether either is available.

Portal support staff can fix access or display problems. They cannot decide which setting controls. Case questions belong with the court.

Carroll County Berryville Date Tracks

Berryville runs two separate tracks. City dockets and Eastern District county dockets do not mix. A first-Tuesday city arraignment is not a first-Wednesday county arraignment. Discovery and trial settings split the same way. They land on the second and third Wednesdays. The third-Monday FTA arraignment and review docket stands as its own calendar. Watch a ticket showing only the city name. It can hide that distinction.

The official Berryville citation page lays out the local route to pay or contest.

Carroll County court dates and Berryville citation instructions

The city instructions connect a citation to Berryville's court process. The case notice and District Court clerk still hold the actual setting.

How to Read a Court Setting

A calendar line helps only when you read its fields together. Search ARCourts separates Future Events from Docket Entries. The first block looks ahead. The second holds dated history, which may include a notice or order explaining why a date changed. Carroll County sources suggest this reading sequence.

DateThe scheduled day shown in the newest case notice, order, or Future Event.
TimeThe session time, which may differ by arraignment, discovery, trial, or civil docket.
CourtroomThe appearance place must be confirmed because Alpena lacks a published physical courtroom address.
JudgeThe judicial officer assigned to the case or session; temporary assignments do not prove a permanent court change.
Setting TypeThe purpose, such as arraignment, discovery/trial, civil or small claims, FTA review, or a Rule 8.1 jail hearing.

"Future event" does not mean a final confirmed date. It means the portal has a forward-looking entry. Confirm any urgent appearance with the clerk.

Carroll County Friday Court Dates

Eureka Springs and Green Forest both run Friday tracks. Their dates and times differ. Arraignments come the first Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Eureka Springs. Discovery or trials come the second Friday at 9:00 a.m. Green Forest lists first-Friday arraignments and third-Friday discovery or trials. Both sit at 9:00 a.m. Similar labels should not suggest the same courthouse or week.

The Eureka Springs District Court page names the local court personnel and contact route.

This department also takes Western District county matters and Holiday Island police cases, so a citation's wording may not match the city where court is held.

The Green Forest court clerk page gives the direct local route for its calendar.

Carroll County court dates and Green Forest District Court clerk

Green Forest publishes no live calendar interface. The clerk's direct line is the sound fallback for a current setting.

Continuances, Resets, and Cancellations

A reset or continuance slides a hearing to a new date. The old entry stays. Carroll County docket history keeps every setting on record even after it is moved. Check the newest Future Event first. Then scan later Docket Entries for a notice or order. When two dates conflict, call the filing clerk. Portal tech support will not tell you which order controls.

No published weather-reset plan, Zoom directory, or calendar coordinator list exists for Carroll County. No rule promises real-time updates. So a missing online event does not mean court was canceled. An old date can sit in the history. That does not prove the setting is still live. The newest court notice plus clerk confirmation wins.

Note: A reset changes the current setting. The prior docket entry remains part of the case's public history.

Carroll County Calendar Source Anomaly

One official Third District plan shows what looks like an "11:00 PM" start for a Berryville civil and small-claims setting. Nothing establishes a night-court session, so do not silently correct that printed time or assume it is right. Before you drive, call the Berryville District Court clerk at 870-423-6247.

Conflicting time: Quote the case number and the exact calendar line when calling. Ask the clerk to confirm both the time and appearance location.

This is why a static recurring calendar works only as a planning aid. A case-specific notice or a direct check with the clerk is stronger evidence.

Carroll County Court Date Terms

Local sources lean on a handful of setting labels. Learn them. They help you tell the purpose of a date apart from the outcome of the case.

Arraignment
An early criminal setting for advisement and a plea.
Discovery or trial
A published district-calendar track for case preparation or trial work.
FTA review
A Berryville docket tied to failure-to-appear matters and review.
Future Event
The forward-looking scheduling block in Search ARCourts.
Continuance or reset
A move from one scheduled date to another.

A setting label says what the court plans to take up. It proves no plea, no judgment, no dismissal, and no sentence.

Carroll County Court Date Routing

Holiday Island runs no court of its own. Its police matters have gone through Eureka Springs since May 2023. Alpena is a different trap. The City of Alpena–Carroll County department sits in the Fourth District. It sits outside the Carroll and Madison Third District. No official source publishes its session pattern or courtroom address.

For Holiday Island, call Eureka Springs at 479-253-8574. For Alpena, call the chief clerk at 870-849-8602 before you appear or mail anything. Once you have a date and want the full case, a Carroll County case lookup works without narrowing the court location too early.

If You Miss a Court Setting

Call the court named on the citation or notice right away. Ask if a warrant, review setting, added cost, or new appearance date has been entered. If a lawyer represents you, call that lawyer too. Never pay through an unrelated portal just because you missed a hearing. Payment can carry a plea consequence. The state eTraffic participant list names no Carroll County venue.

Missed a setting? A failure to appear can lead to a warrant, added costs, or license action.

Call the filing court, state the case or citation number, and ask what the docket now requires.

Seek advice from a licensed attorney when a warrant, bond term, or deadline may be involved.

Berryville posts a third-Monday FTA arraignment and review track. That recurring session gives no new date to an individual case. Only the court can do that.
