Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information Carroll County Court Docket may receive during a visit, the purposes for which it is used, and the limited situations in which another party may process it. By using the website, a visitor accepts these practices.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name, case number, or other term entered in a search tool is delivered to the third-party company that operates that tool. Carroll County Court Docket does not retain or log those query terms on its own systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If a visitor sends an email, we keep the message as needed to respond. We do not disclose it outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Data We Gather Automatically

Standard server and analytics logs may record technical details when a page loads.

  • The device's internet protocol address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system and device category
  • Pages viewed and time spent
  • Referring website, when available
  • Date and time of each request

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small device files used to understand traffic patterns, popular pages, and navigation. Analytics services may combine visit data into reports. A browser can refuse cookies, although doing so may alter how some website features work.

What We Do With This Data

Collected technical information supports normal website operations.

  • Maintain reliable and fast page delivery
  • Route a submitted search to the selected partner
  • Measure which resources visitors use
  • Find and repair technical problems
  • Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests

No Court-Record Data on File

Carroll County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal case records. It publishes general directions to Search ARCourts, the Carroll County Circuit Clerk, Circuit Court, District Court departments, and other official custodians. Arkansas Freedom of Information Act provisions, Ark. Code ยงยง 25-19-101 through 25-19-110, concern governmental records, while Arkansas Administrative Order 19 more directly governs access to judicial case records. Those rules do not turn this private website into a court-record custodian. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor data is not assembled into a report about another person.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies power search boxes that appear on content pages. Information entered there is processed under the provider's privacy policy and retention rules, not this policy. Review those terms before submitting a query because Carroll County Court Docket cannot control a partner's handling of data.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to Search ARCourts, Arkansas courts, Carroll County offices, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's policy governs the visit. Some advertising services may also use their own technology to measure activity across websites.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by the following parties.

  • Search providers receiving a query submitted to their tool
  • Analytics vendors measuring website performance
  • Advertising networks placing ads on pages
  • Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal demand

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect the information we handle. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so these measures reduce risk but cannot promise that a breach will never occur.

Users Under 18

The website is intended for adults. Carroll County Court Docket does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Information identified as belonging to a minor will be removed when required.

Your Data Rights

Rights over personal information vary by residence and applicable law. A visitor may ask what personal data we hold, request correction or deletion, or object to a permitted form of processing. These website-data requests are distinct from a request for an Arkansas court record, which must go to the court or clerk under Administrative Order 19 and other governing law.

  • Request access to personal data held by this website
  • Ask that inaccurate data be corrected
  • Request deletion when the law permits
  • Object to certain processing where a right applies

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this privacy policy as services or practices change. The current version will appear here with a revised effective date.
